- Mission Control ergonomics: every control a cinematographer reaches for mid-take — Record, ISO, iris, white balance, and menu navigation — sits within reach of the handles so you never break grip.
- Dedicated cinema controls: control dials for Iris, ISO, and Shutter Speed fall under the right handle, alongside a dedicated REC button and a FOCUS MAG lever.

Lens & Port Compatibility
The NA-FX5 is built around the N100 Port System shared across Nauticam's full-frame Sony mirrorless housings, so existing Sony shooters can cross over lenses and optics seamlessly. The N100 system provides optical-glass and flat port solutions for a wide range of lenses, and unlocks Nauticam's Water Contact Optics for the highest underwater image quality.
Monitoring & Cinema Workflow
The NA-FX5 features an M24 bulkhead supporting the Nauticam HDMI 2.0/1.4 cable system, which routes the camera's HDMI signal to a supported external monitor or recorder housing for confident critical focus and exposure on longer takes. An M16 bulkhead is dedicated for the 26325 USB-C Charging Bulkhead, and an M14 bulkhead on the rear cover accepts the optional M14 Vacuum Valve II. Premium Water-Contact Optics
The greatest advantage of the Nauticam system is direct access to its water-contact optics, which correct the image where the water meets the glass for exceptional sharpness across the frame. For wide angle the WWL-1B provides a wide 130° field of view, or step up to the WACP-1B and WACP-2 conversion ports for reference-grade corner-to-corner performance. For macro, add the Nauticam MFO-1 for improved edge-to-edge sharpness, and improved autofocus, or the MFO-3 for a wider field of view, improved image quality, and more versatility on your dive. Finally for supermacro fans, Nauticam's SMC-3 or SMC-2 offer remarkable image quality for the ocean's smaller critters.
