Nauticam NA-A7RV Underwater Housing for the Sony a7R V
The Sony a7R V pairs a 61-megapixel full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R sensor with the BIONZ XR engine and AI-driven Real-time Recognition autofocus, making it one of the most capable hybrid cameras available to underwater shoots. The Nauticam NA-A7RV underwater housing unleashes that potential at depth, delivering fingertip access to every essential control inside a rugged, precision-machined aluminum enclosure rated to 100 meters.

Key Features of the Nauticam NA-A7RV
-
Ergonomic mission control: Nauticam positions the controls you use most — ISO, AF-ON, shutter speed and aperture dials, record button, playback and the Fn levers — as close to the handles as possible, so you can adjust settings by feel without ever taking your eye off the subject or your hands off the housing.
-
N100 Port System: Ports mount with a simple lever, no twisting or threading, and lock securely in place, keeping ports from rotating even with extended focus and zoom rings attached. The patented bayonet mount makes changing ports and lenses quick and easy.
-
HDMI 2.0 monitoring: A large-bore M24 bulkhead supports external monitors and recorders, letting the a7R V push 16-bit RAW output at up to 4K 60p.
-
Vacuum-ready leak detection: Paired with an accessory vacuum valve, the built-in electronic monitoring system gives you a constant, color-coded LED read-out of the housing’s watertight status along with peace of mind during your dive.
-
Flexible strobe triggering: Integrated fiber-optic bulkheads drive external strobes via the optional Mini Flash Trigger, with electronic Nikonos or Ikelite-style bulkheads available as options.
Lens & Port Compatibility
The NA-A7RV is built around the Nauticam N100 Port System for the Sony E-Mount Camera system, giving access to Nauticam's extensive catalog of dome ports, macro ports, and extension rings engineered for Sony full-frame optics. Larger dome ports and specialty optics are supported through N100-to-N120 adaptors, including the N100 to N120 35.5mm Port Adaptor II and the N100 to N120 25mm Port Adaptor.

Hybrid Shooting & HDMI Monitoring
The a7R V is a true hybrid tool, and the NA-A7RV is engineered to keep pace. The front M24 bulkhead accepts HDMI 2.0 (or HDMI 1.4 via an M16 step-down). For a full HDMI 2.0 cable system, add the M24 adaptor for HDMI 2.0 cable to feed the Nauticam Atomos Ninja V Housing. For an HDMI 1.4 setup, combine the standard HDMI bulkhead (M16) and the M24-M16 step-down adaptor, feeding the NA-Shinobi-H monitor housing.
Enhanced Viewfinder Options
Composing at 61 megapixels rewards a bright, edge-to-edge view. The NA-A7RV accepts Nauticam's acclaimed full-frame optical viewfinders. Choose from the Full Frame Straight Viewfinder 32°/1:1, the Straight 40°/0.8:1, the Angle 32°/1:1, or the Angle 40°/0.8:1. The 40°/0.8:1 finders are the most popular choices for a7R V shooters.
Premium Water-Contact Optics
The greatest advantage of the Nauticam system is direct access to its water-contact optics, which correct the image where the water meets the glass for exceptional sharpness across the frame. For wide angle the WWL-1B provides a wide 130° field of view, or step up to the WACP-1B and WACP-2 conversion ports for reference-grade corner-to-corner performance. For macro, add the Nauticam MFO-1 for improved edge-to-edge sharpness, and improved autofocus, or the MFO-3 for a wider field of view, improved image quality, and more versatility on your dive. Finally for supermacro fans, Nauticam's SMC-3 or SMC-2 offer remarkable image quality for the ocean's smaller critters.
