The Nauticam NA-S1RII is a high-quality aluminum underwater housing designed for the Panasonic S1R II. The housing provides excellent ergonomic access, providing finger tip access to all of your essential controls for exposure, playback, zoom/focus, shooting, and more.
When combined with Nauticam’s extensive line of Water Contact Optics and accessories, the opportunities for capturing unique underwater images and videos are truly endless.
Lens Support & Advanced Optics
The housing is built around Nauticam's N120 port system, with an assortment of dome ports, flat ports, and water contact optics available to support a wide variety of lenses. In addition, the NA-S1RII offers full compatibility with existing ports, gearing, and lens configurations from earlier models like the NA-S1R and NA-S1H.
Ergonomic Control Placement
The NA-S1RII is designed for efficient underwater operation, placing key controls along the left and right side of the housing for easy, ergonomic access to all of your essential camera controls.
Thumb levers near the left and right handles allow easy access to image review and AF-ON buttons, while additional levers control AF mode and toggle between the EVF and LCD. You'll find a dedicated switch for the S1RII's video/still mode selection, conveniently located on a lever atop the housing for quick underwater switching between both modes.
Optical Viewfinders
You can take full advantage of Nauticam 0.8:1 optical viewfinders to enhance the EVF found on the S1RII camera. These viewfinder are offer in a straight and angled version, but both offer an enhanced view of the cameras EVF, along with a dioptric adjustment, allowing you to fine tune the viewfinder to your eyesight.
Monitor & HDMI Support
With a large M24 bulkhead, the NA-S1RII can accommodate a wide variety of Nauticam's underwater monitors and housings via their HDMI 2.0 cabling.
The housing also features multiple 1/4”-20 mounting points for securely attaching components such as top handles, ball mounts, and other accessories.
Lighting & Flash Triggering Compatibility
For high-speed manual flash triggering, the NA-S1RII fully supports the Mini Flash Trigger (26305). This device uses LED units to fire external flashes via Nauticam Universal Fiber Optic Cables (26216).
Vacuum Check and Leak Detection
The NA-S1RII includes Nauticam’s vacuum check and leak detection system. When combined with an optional vacuum valve (25625), the system continuously monitors the housings waterproof integrity, using a simple color-coded LED indicator to signal a secure seal or potential leaks. If water intrusion occurs, an audible and visual alert is triggered.
