Zen Underwater Pen Dome
Olympus recently made waves (pun intended) with the introduction of their compact, affordable, and very capable E-PL1 camera and corresponding PT-EP01 housing. This combination is the least expensive changeable lens camera system ever offered to underwater photographers. This mirror-less Micro-Four Thirds camera features DSLR performance in a compact camera form factor.
The biggest drawback to the PT-EP01 housing is the standard flat port included with the housing. Wide angle lenses behind flat ports (such as the stock flat port supplied with PT-EP01) exhibit refractive magnification, radial distortion, and chromatic aberration.
Zen Underwater addresses these problems with their new WA-100 dome port for PT-EP01. This optically coated glass dome port offers a distortion free 100° wide angle field of view when used with the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f/4-f/5.6 lens. This is a 25% increase in FOV over the standard Olympus flat port and retains the in-air field of view of the Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 9–18mm f/4–f/5.6 lens and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14–42mm f/3.5–f/5.6L lenses.
Includes neoprene dome cover.
