Leak Alarm Unit

The Sea & Sea Leak alarm unit consists of two parts the leak alarm sensor and the vacuum valve

It is effective not only for early detection of underwater flooding accidents, but also for protection of equipment by checking its waterproof performance before dive.
All SEA&SEA housing models will ship with both the Leak alarm sensor and the vacuum valve installed as standard, providing some peace of mind before you even enter the water.

Fiber-Optic Cable Cover

The newly designed fiber-optic cable cover come standard with the housing. This cover securely keeps the optical cables in place during the dive while also protecting the cables & terminals.

Other Features

• Port locking mechanism (lock/unlock) and the lens release button are both accessible from the outside of the housing, allowing for fast and easy port/lens changes in the field.
• The housing is equipped with a sliding mechanism for engaging or disengaging the focus/zoom dial.  This mechanism allows precision gear engagement with the lens gearing and smooth, hassle free lens changes, even with larger diameter lenses.
• Luminescent stickers can be found on each operating control. These will glow brighter, for a longer period of time, with a short exposure to light, allowing the operator to clearly see all of the controls, even in dark conditions while underwater.
• The 0.5x pickup finder is included with the housing. The 0.66x and 0.8x pick-up viewfinders, VF45 1.2x and VF180 1.2x are also all fully compatible and offer a larger, brighter, and enhanced view of the camera electronic viewfinder.
  *When VF45 1.2x is attached, there will be some vignetting in the corner of the viewfinder.
  *When the VF180 1.2x is mounted, there will be some vignetting at the corners and top of the viewfinder.
• A variety of reliable strobe triggering methods are offered:

• • (1) Optical TTL connection
    [Product No:50143] Optical Converter for MDX/CR
    Optional “Optical Converter CR” converts camera's strobe light signal to LED light and synchronizes it with any optical strobe.
    This high-performance converter is also capable of TTL auto exposure.
  • (2) Optical manual connection
    [Product No:50144] Manual Flash Trigger MFT/CN
    For those who do not need TTL photography, the fiber-optic cable connection enables manual firing of any optical strobe
  •   (3) Electrical connection - using an electrical bulkhead sync cord, any electrical capable strobe can be fired 

• The silicone material is robust, yet fits securely to hold the housing in place.
  The SA8 fixed ball base allows for your preferred lighting deployment. A lanyard hook for convenient carrying on/off the dive boat is also pre-equipped.
• Corrosion-resistant material (zinc pieces) are installed along the front and rear case.
• Tripod screw holes are located along the bottom of the housing body.
• A Heavy duty under guard is located along the bottom of the housing to protect the base of the housing from wear and tear.
