The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 60mm f2.8 Macro incorporates Olympus's exclusive MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) mechanism, which is based on a floating-type inner focusing system with three drive systems resulting in no change in the overall lens length during autofocusing. Other features such as focus limit switching and a shooting distance/magnification indicator window enhance macro shooting control and precision.

Ports for Olympus Housings:
This lens will NOT fit in Olympus housing ports with lights (PT-EP05L, PT-EP06L, etc.)
Reef Photo has tested this lens in Olympus housings with the Olympus standard port, and found it to be compatible.
A more optimum solution is to use the combination of Zen Underwater FP-100-EP Port (for Panasonic 45mm) and a Zen Underwater 25mm extension ring for Olympus PT-EP housings
