Machined from pure, solid blocks of aluminum to produce a light weight yet rugged package that will offer many years of service, yet keep weight to a minimum, the Seatool E-3 housing is a joy to use. Small and light enough to hand carry on aircraft, it's the perfect tool for the traveling diver faced with strict airline weight restrictions.
Because the housing body conforms so closely to the camera, the housing attains nearly neutral buoyancy (slightly negative) for effortless underwater handling handling. It also means that all camera controls are placed withing easy reach, even for divers with small hands.
Ports
The Seatool E-3 takes advantage of the 'M' series ports, a growing selection of multicoated glass ports affording the very best images possible from your camera. In addition, port adapters are available for Olympus, Nexus, Sea & Sea, Inon, Aquatica and Subal ports, allowing you to take advantage of your existing investment in ports.
The camera mounts to a quick-release tray making installing and removing the camera within the housing a breeze.
The end result of this meticulous attention to detail is one of the smallest, lightest underwater SLR housings every produced.

The Seatool E-3 offers three viewfinder options:
* A 1:1 Optical Window Viewfinder
* A 45° Inon Magnifying Viewfinder which is great for keeping the photographer up off of the reef while shooting low angle macro subjects.
* A 180° Inon Magnifying Viewfinder which is offers viewfinder magnification in a more traditional configuration.
Optical Strobe Connectors
By triggering strobes optically, this housing eliminates the traditional weak link of underwater photography (electrical sync cables). When paired with Inon's S-TTL Enabled Strobes such as the D-2000, and Z-240 TTL Automatic flash is available!

This option allows use of legacy strobes connected via either one or two Nikonos or Olympus style bulkheads:

Two Stage Cam Latches
The revolutionary latches on Seatool SLR housings provide both security and convenience. The recessed release button insures 'snag-proof' protection from unintended latch release, and the two-stage cam action makes releasing and securing the latch simple and painless.
